Happened just over Christmas too where Belle road had a foot of snow on it and guys stuck with vehicles a km 1.

Hotrod groomed up Renshaw last night and reports 24 inches of new over the last couple days, only 22 riders up and no one going far due to visibility. Lucielle and Belle both about 24 inches also. Temps sitting around -2c! All trails in excellent condition!!!

Sorry no pics but rode Renshaw today poor visibility, 3' fresh pos every where. So deep couldn't even make it over hill climb hill. Supposed to. It snow tomorrow so visibility should be much better. Going up again tomorrow

Rode Lucille today. Deep every where as well. Getting wet and sticky mid afternoon. Visibility was ok and it cleared up good late afternoon.

If anyone gets to ghost lake tomorrow please take a picture of the single tree with no branches on the northeast corner of the lake beside it sits my gen4 likely invisible to the naked eye. Would like a picture and if you could happen to dig it out for the chopper would be appreciated.

As mentioned above Renshaw was deep today. Didn’t make it too far, hopefully the visibility gets better tomorrow. Little climbs that are normally very little throttle needed we were to the bar all day. Lots of stucks

Heads up.

MOTI technitions will be conducting avalanche control in the Red Pass area. Weather permitting, this is currently planned for tomorrow January 6th, from approximately 11:00 - 15:00.The highway will be shut down from Mt Robson to the East avalanche gates (near Red Pass).

Renshaw was epic today. 4’ of sugar pow everywhere. Dropped into the meadows and had a blast. Then the Pro in our group had the jackshaft break. Another crew came along and gave us a hand to get it out and back to the cabin. Just as the final 4 of us were about to crest the hill coming back out of the meadows, one of the M8000’s blew the outer drive clutch sheave completely in half through the side panel. So then we had to get that one out and back to the cabin. As my buddy Ratchford said, “ it was the worst best day ever” lol. We had a blast all in all and the snow was great. Any day ya can make it back to the truck with your sled is a good day. Special thanks to the mystery group of folks that helped us. Never caught their names.
