Question for you guys, never been to renshaw, just wondering if the trail to the cabin at least is good for beginners and to play around the cabin, have a peron in our group that is fairly new to sleddin. Dont want to take them somewhere they shouldn't belong?

Thx

Renshaw has a great trial for beginners. 28 kms of well groomed trail. Once up top there is good areas for beginners to play in and get comfortable.

Yep The Renshaw is an excellent place for beginners. Like Catman13 said, 28 km of groomed trail with awesome scenery. Once at the cabin there is a huge area for the newbies to practice their skills on. I'm not sure if the BBQ is still at the cabin but a great place for a lunch as well.

Rode Renshaw again today and first ones to cabin again on a groomed trail with fresh snow so good cruising.
Went to Wolverine and dropped in to the back side.
Looked like 4 sleds came through saddle as we were leaving at 2 PM.
3-4' fresh everywhere.
Went to wind tunnels and Ghost lake.
Made friends with at least 6 rocks.
Great snow but really low for this time of year.
Alpha ran great again.
Great weekeND!

Never bothered to check.
Lots of hidden treasures.
Tagged a couple stumps yesterday and two rocks were pretty solid hits, cleared the bars on one hit.
Zero damage.
Grooming was awsome.
This snow was badly needed and might go back next weekend, brother wants another ride in before he goes back to Arizona.
Unlikely I will probe depth....don't think I ever have anywhere. Gonna ride anyway.
Both the Alpha and 19 Summit ripped but we got badly trumped by cousins turbo Apex.

Total of only about 10 sleds on back side so there is still lots to go get.
No tracks to spirit.....would be a rock dodging adventure till it snows more.

Ron got the heat working again on Belle, big thanks to him! Also ran in to Higgins and family today. Always great to meet other S&M regulars.

We found decent snow up on the backside of little belle, maybe 12" of fresh, with another 12-24" below that. We also broke in about 5 meadows deep down lower and the snow was completely untouched this season. Over the bars all afternoon. Was a great way to spend new years eve.

Renshaw trial was awesome today smooth as a table top first thing this morning. Only complaint would be the willows hanging out on to the trail makes it difficult to meet other sleds.

Returning a rental sled back to McBride we decided to take the kids up Belle for a few hours and Like Dawizman said the goods were delivered! 24” of good snow, rode around the upper perimeter and across the creek to tons of untouched, we had a blast!!

I have a buddy that would like to come with us and would need a rental. Where did you get the rental, what was it, and how much? Thanks!

If anyone gets into the main valley of renshaw and heads west towards the start of the spirit lake trail mind swinging down the hill further to the little lake and digging the three feet of snow of my gen 4 on the northeast corner of the lake so the guys can find it when we get a chance to drag it out. Left a fifteen foot tree delimbed stuck beside it

Saw it there Sunday. The tree will not be burried for a long time.
Good choice on trees and parking close.
Need a trail packed out to even try towing in this snow.
4 sleds would get it out in a day but need a double wide trail packed few hours ahead.
