Also no need to do the SLD mod in the 2011's.

Don't mean to seem stupid, but what is the "SLD" mod ?? I have a '10 850 that I'm currently running 27" Zillas on in summer and 28" ITP 589's with close to 500 ice racing screws in winter. The only mod I'm going to start on soon is the Team Industries gear reduction (14%) - the kit is in my garage, just gotta find the time.

There's a slipper gear in the tranny. Spike load damper....your gear reduction kit gets rid of it automatically when you do the change.

I thought I would share what the end result was. Love tearing through the snow and mud with this thing.
