Anyhow, He wants $500 to use your company name or he wants $500 otherwise he is using you company name?
If it is the latter, without a release he cannot use your company name to defame you or your company. It can also lead to a right of publicity claim against that person for use of their name without their permission.

He already did have posters made with several company logo's on it without permission.

Not cool. Plus, $500 would be much better spent on a grammar and punctuation class.
For example:
Ozone just stopped in to see me, and asked me for $500 for the Big Iron Shootout. I said no. He told me he was making a non-supporter banner, and that my company name was going on it for the event!

El Ozone sólo se detuvo a verme y me pidió $ 500 para el Big Iron Shootout. Le dije que no . Me dijo que estaba haciendo un banner no partidario, y que mi nombre de la empresa iba en él para el evento !
