    MTNTK blow hole

My husband runs one on his '14 Cat. It's been pretty effective in keeping his belt cooler and less blown belts. He had quite a bit of venting in his '13 that didn't do anything near what the Blow Hole does. He went with less venting and the blow hole on the '14, tried it out first and the belts...

    How do we keep going

How do we keep going? We simply keep going. :) With more knowledge, more awareness and with a focus on terrain, conditions, and weather to go with the education, tools and the avy bag. Terrain choice comes before everything IMO. In the past we didn't have sleds to take us to these remote places...

    forester conditions

It's been a warm week, but I'm sure they'll be getting the groomer on it before the warm up tomorrow. I'll see if I can find out. Friday the freezing level is over 2000 and then cools down Friday night and then stays cool. Some snow forecasted for the weekend, not a lot, but some.

Hahaha, I was more concerned about mountain driving ability. :p jk :) Please everyone using this road, have a radio :) You would be surprised the **** show we cause as sledders when you can hear what the truckers go through. The guys on this road are awesome, really watch out for sledders...

    Silent Pass conditions

Saturday was a tad slippery in spots for sure, we were good with the deck and there were lots of smaller enclosed with no chains. I radioed from home to see what it was like and at that point a trailer was jack-knifed on the way up, blocking the road. Couldn't make it, tried backing up :eek...

Friday the road was glare ice for part of Westside Rd and from 4 way up the Horse. We didn't go up but the guys who did parked along the Westside road and took the dogleg route. Said it was ok past dogleg and up. The pics of the road look nasty and the snow is low up there.

Most BC snowmobile clubs don't want to dish out $100,000 for a name change though. We can't spend club money on a name change when clubs are hurting for money, groomers, labour, etc. unless the clubs vote to spend that money. Where would this money come from? Government? Most likely not, they...

The people shouldn't be changing anytime soon Tex, when you get a team that can focus on issues, policies, procedures and projects and not personal agendas or decisions based on personal opinion, you keep them - this is not a common found thing in NPO. There has been a strong goal of forging a...

As the coordinator for the BCSF's LetsRideBC program and a past director, it's really exciting to see one organization is a reality in the very near future. We parked at the second lot on Sat. with a deck, you can get an open place trailer up to there. It was only muddy from the main lot on basically. Dogleg parking is a no go for sure. :)

Who has ridden Rocky Point and wants to share ??? :)

Kinda surprised only the one slide has come down on the road…the big bastard still hasn't come down. Each year they are usually all down by now…this year they're looming. Knowing how low the coverage is up Catamount, or any mountain top passes I would expect Rocky Point to earn it's name this...

Snow and Mudders, fight the caribou!….closures.

Rev 800 survives avalanche at cataract

You're possibly the kinda guys that give the rest of us a bad name IMO. Good example of how/where not to ride though.

What would you do in this situation??

If I witness peeps that are obviously either uneducated or not using their education, I try to ride up and say 'Hi,are you guys from around here?'….'did you happen to check the avy/weather'….No? then proceed to give them the avy and weather report and ask them to please stay off this, that and...
