the rider makes a huge differance on how the sled works.ya they are heavy but with a 180 kit there is no 800 or 1000 that will come close.

snowcheck is a joke. polaris has droped the price of sleds in fall, by giving money back promos and selling sleds thousands of dollars less then the poor guy who snowchecked.so you get a free jacket or some junk big deal!

buddy of mine got over 200 in fines because the breakaway was not working on his trailer.the brakes were working but only under truck power.the cop was going to impound the trailer. that was in alberta so its not just in b.c. boys .

The best way too find out is to call a dealer,find out book value and add about 1500 to 2000 if the sleds are in good shape. That way you know if somebody is just trying to get a good deal.just what i think

there is also a guy trying to sell a 09 assualt 800 in the toy trader. the price is 6800.oo.it is a scam i looked into it close because of the price.the guy doesnt ever own the sled is belonges to a guy in idaho. so if it seems to good to be true it more than likely is.

too bad you want slide out sides. I have an older marathon for sale right now at less than half the price of a new one, glides and clamp all go with it.

why build one? just buy mine. its a marathon longbox old style,ramp with extension all aluminum for 1400. you cant build it for that.
