With the two stroke turbo's working well now the whole turbo yammy thing is going to slow way down.. That is cause a yammy is much heavier than anything alse that you have to turbo them just do anything with them... A nitro is like 130lbs heavier than an XP800 and the nytro makees like 13hp less....... How does that work... Why the heck would you buy a yammy tankk... An investment????? Oh yah and i've heard of a few guys with supercharged nytro's that only got like 40km's to a tank of fuell, That is a 7G tankk.. That is way fuel milage than any two stroke turbo........ Yammy is just suckin the hind tit...

I also agree with that, but the thing is two stroke turbos havent been proven yet, thats why people go with the yamahas...they're reliable (so people say) and four strokes can go longer without a rebuild.

The price of turbos is insane though, there are turbo phazers out there for 14 000....why not buy a brand new rev...get more hp, much less weight and better ergos.

Buy the looks of those avatar pictures, I think twinturbo should line up against glengine, and see what happens.

The pic on my avatar is of the sled built for my boss. He's actually out riding with twin turbo this weekend.. I also put twin turbo's sled together... The bosses xp800 with turbo installed weighs like 463lbs.. And makes like 225hp at 10lbs boost.. Not to shabby... Two stroke turbos are good and reliable but the only thing is that you have to run race fuel...

The yammy's also cost alot more when you rebuild them. I have two buddies with turbo yammy's that blew them up in the first season that they had them.. So better reliability????

How low do you think you have to drop the boost to run premium to 94 octane. There are some places that sell 94. A reliable XP with 175hp at 7000' would be enough for a lot of people. Pump gas is a big deal to people that don't have incloseds to haul fuel in. Don't have to worry about limiting your ride cause of fuel.

I know of a couple guys running M8's around 5-6lbs. on 92. Not going to run with the big boys but will take care of any modified stocker with ease.

Well you can put a 860 big bore kit on XP800 and make just over 170hp.. And they work really well.

Well just my :twocents:But I have 300+ miles on my BD turbo'd Dragon 700,,, at 10 lbs boost it is sick.... if you want big HP out of a two stroke you better be willing and able to back it up with the right fuel.... if you cannot then do not even bother with a turbo on a 2 stroke....

Why would a guy spend $6 gees.. on a turbo just to run at 5-6lbs so he can run pump gas.... man I know of alot more ways that I could have got the same HP for a quarter the price....

It all comes down to this.... 2-stroke turbo.... 10lbs + boost..... 112octane... or your just wasting money.... and you'll be buying an new block real soon...

Anyways no judgement or be'ing a smart arse here... but just my :twocents:

Oh yah. well you got one part totally right it is a beast, weighing in at about 580lbs dry. I weighed one that wasn't turbo'd it just came from the dealership so it only had like a gallom of gas in it and it weighed in at 603!!!
