ship it to me as a spare please!!!
We are just trying to save you money so you can buy all us belt geniuses a beer when you meet us?ok ok i get it. its pooched. but why would anyone want this thing as a backup? if anything i want my backup brand new not old...
Throw it on a spitfire tho and the downright brutal torque would blow it apart before you'd get it off the trailer...Pretty sure I could run that belt for another 50 years on my '69 Massey.

That's what I've always done. Take a long ride into a place like silent pass where you can really tune a belt in and get it set up nice then throw it in the case for your spare. I usually break in about 3 and leave em in the trailer just in case you end up with a bad weekend. Noticed a big difference in belt life doing em that way.The best spare is a properly broken in one, you'll probably be in a nasty hole when yours blows... hard on a new spare right out of the gate
