Will a 2008 m series seat fit a 2007?

Just wondering if a 2008 m 1000 seat will fit on a 2007 m8? Just picked up my m8 on monday night and am still learing about them

Yes it will.

Absolutely. All M-seats interchange. 2005-2009 had the first style seat (lower and longer). 2010-2011 had the newer seat (higher and shorter). You have to change the rear mounting pins to switch between the older style and newer style, but that does not apply in your case.

Actually you dont even need to change the mounting seat pins....The 2010-11 seat just bolts to the fuel tank bolts up front.
