I'd go with the Polaris aswell, they were a good sled, and if you know a bit you can really build that sled. I had a 1988 Indy 650 SKS that I did some mods to and it was awesome, new clutches, new skid, new track, and I rode that until I was 18 and a 180lbs. just build it a bit each year.

Bought a 98 600 RMK for my wife back in 1997. Lite weight can and v-force reeds installed. She could stay with my 98 700 RMK up to about 50 mph and climb anywhere I went. AWESOME MACHINE.. VERY DEPENDABLE my 2 cents worth.
