well I sold my 91 cat. im looking for a good intermediate snowmobile for the sum of $2000. I was looking for a summit 583 but there is very limeted selection. so its either a 98 rmk 600 with 2900 miles or a 98 mtn max. there both $2000 whats better.

well I sold my old artic scrap. it was 1991 700. I heard the 98 rmk was reliable and the 98 yami was not. im only 14 and I think I have done perty good to raise $2000 by myself.

Hey Andre you tell pops to chip in another $2,000.00 and you could make leaps and bonds above that 98 polaris. then u wouldnt out grow it by the time your 16, but then agaign u might be chasing chicks then:nono:

blastoff, you pretty much got the idea of how it works!!!

Andre, i dont think a 670 would be to big at 14yrs... i just turned 17 and bought my dads 700 summit from him. i rode a 380 until now but if you are responsible and physically big enough you could handle the power... also you said you had a 700 arctic cat, i know it was old but still a big sled!! But also an rmk would be a great sled to, not a YAMI!!

my family is not made of $$$. im not very experianced at sleding so my plan is to get an older sled and stay with it until im desent at sledding. then I can get them dandy mighty fine sleds.

stay away from the MM and go with the RMK. but if you can find a 670 that would be even better. we just picked up a 98 670X for $2700 and these sleds are great. you can never have enough power. if you think it has to much power just dont hold the throttle leaver down to long lol. my 8 year old drives his 550 or my 900. he just goes as fast as he wants to go lol. just my 2 cents but who listens to me lol.
