Dont over do it, one thing that i find about S&M is that there can be too many options of places to post. Im sure your back counter server info can show you the places people are looking and the ones they are not.

Well a boating section needs bikinis, does it not

Not that I know anything on forum building but meanchicken from what I remember had some of the following.
Main section, had a photo gallery, general jetboat discussion, mechanical discussion(jetboat or trailer only), jetboat builds, sportjets, mini's.
Of course introduction of new members.
It had a sponsored section such as Hamilton, Scott, American Turbine, Berkley, Marine power, Yenmar, HMC, Duckworth, Thunderjet, plus many others that had subsection for discussion.
It also had a regional section, BC, Alberta, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Alaska and international section Australia, New Zealand, Russia and others.
Other sections, like hunting, fishing, cooking, and so on.
Just putting it out on what I remember it had, modify it to our needs.
It also had a classified section related to jetboats only, prices had to be posted or it was rejected.
