This time of year we begin to get the unusual yard pets. Some stay awhile, some just pass by. Our first one arrived yesterday. Her pic is below.
Remembering back to city life, we didn't get to see alot of these pets, so thought we'd update as we have pics, to share with our fellow s and m'ers especially the city folk.
If anyone else has similar to share, please do.

;)

I figure Martha our latest cow moose was tired and so she rested as she will have her baby soon. Then it will be a 'stay even further away from mama' scenario if she hangs around again, like they usually do. Proud mama moose + cute baby = keep your distance more than normal. :0

Thats what I love about living on the farm. Last night I was getting home from hauling grain, and there was about 10 deer in the yard around a little pile of grain that had spilled off the truck.

The heard.. Our neighbors bailed our field and left them there over winter. We have around 30 deer per day beside our house. Its amazing to see in the morning when there all tucked under our deck, or around a spruce tree..

Here is a small buck in front of my office eating apples this past fall. We have an apple, plum and pear tree and they love coming for desert after eating some of the hay crops in the fields behind us. This was taken with my iphone

We get alot of deer in our backyard too - drive's our one dog crazy. She likes to chase them - until they chase her back. Doesn't appreciate that too much.

Yes my iPhone originally showed like this one below, then using an app I lightened it. Go iPhone 4 !!!!

It has such amazing clarity, pretty awesome for a phone.

:)

Oh, and because we can't shoot our friends .
