Well This what my bearings looked like after I replaced them a year ago... Memo to self check your bearings every weekend and repack them... Expensive Lesson learned here

SH*TTY! Yep working on my bearing issues this week, haven't had a catastrophic failure YET!!

How long did those bearings go unserviced before they failed becuase I'm kinda curious how often I should be servicing mine. ...certainly not going to repack them after every trip.

i am sure that the riding in the water to the handle bars had nothing to doo with this failure either. lol:rolleyes:

yea man dont try to streach some extra miles out of them lol

Hell no it's parked until I get the parts....I had the same bearings go on my old machine, and the caliper was the only thing that held that tire on! I changed my pinion bearing this week and noticed a teeny bit of play on the left side and a whole bunch of play on the right (caliper) side. Like I said it's parked in storage until such time as I make my way over to get the parts, replace both bearings and no worries for the rest of the summer.:d

The bearings were a year old never really thought to re pack them cause they were sealed bearings

Hahah this quad has never seen water that deep except once but lots of sand and mud it's a race quad this bearings are always under water down most wet trails I think I have 6 inches of ground clearance
