Summerizing a 800r!

So sad,time to tuck my baby away till the white stuff comes back to stay! what do ya"ll recommend doing to the motor for storage, as i don't want to pay the dealer

There are quite a few links that touch on this subject but IMO, grease the suspension, clean it up, add stabilizer to the fuel tank (should be about ½ full) then run it up to temp. every month until fall. If you can’t run it every month you’d want to look into carb fogging and pouring some oil down the cylinders etc.
