I was there today not sledding though. There was about 3' in downtown Stewart. A solid 6+ through the Bear pass at the highway.

Kitimat got 3' in town Feb13-14 as did the mountains around Terrace. Alpine base around Terrace/Kitimat is ~400cm.

Talked to a Stewart local and he said they have been low on snow but it has been really deep lately and they have not been able to get back to their cabin. That was as much detail as i got.

we just got back from stewart on monday. the snow was heavily windblown up at the mine in hyder. it was brutal!!! not even kidding it was hard to ride on it. but down at meziadan lake was nice fluffy deep pow.

Just talked to my buddy that lives in Stewart and apparently they got a good dump a couple days ago. but its been really warm in town... who nows what its like up top. Stewart is at sea level sooo...

I sure hope that all that rain that is forcast for Stewart is falling as mountains of powder up top.

Leaving on the 15th of April.

Anyone been up there in the last little while?

Just noticed how many times I said "That" in my last post, I'll have to re-visit my Grammer. :headscratch3:

Most definetly we will be giving a report and pics when we return. :beer:

Will be in Stewart May 16 till the end of the long weekend. Any one else gonna be up there for the long weekend. Still have an extra spot on the trailer if anyone from around Edmonton area wants too come with us. Just shot me a pm for more info. :beer::)

According to the snow forecast, Stewart is getting HAMMERED with snow !!! Can Anyone out there confirm this, some pics would be nice too Please !!!!

My son is up there this weekend.... He was told there was 8' at the cabin.... I'll let ya know when he gets back on sunday what he says... he should have some video footage also...

We have about 200cm around here so 8' there sounds believable. Dumping hard all weekend and forecast same all this coming week...there will be plenty of snow for you by the December that's for sure.
