Safe Early Season Riding

Got some filming i want to take in November, looking for some early season riding. Something to get out there while i'm laid off. When is it usually safe to go out? And where? Hoping to go in the second to third week ish? Don't want to push it too early in the season.

Safe early season riding = avoiding down hill pow turns in nov. Dam rocks n stumps get me every time.
