Riding Conditions in McBride???

Does anyone know what the riding conditions are like in McBride, in the Lucille and Renshaw riding areas? Have there been any Avy's in the area lately.
What are the snow conditions like?

10 days ago it was tracked out in most areas...lots of snow just no new. If you got some secret spots that hold snow prob find somethin to make your own track. Spirit lake in the back of renshaw could be aight. But that could all be diff now as it was 10 days ago. Glengine's got a shop there in McBride...pm him and he'd prolly let ya know.

We were there for the family day long weekend, very hard packed, tons of tracks, Needs snow. But we still had lots of fun.

renshaw got a good bit of snow on sunday of the family day weekend, went up lucille again monday hoping that there was some up there. lucille is tracked up real bad. Renshaw was good depending on where you went to if you were adventurous enough there was still a lot of untouched snow in a few places. but we all know it doesnt take long to track up a good spot once you find it. lol

no avalanches that i know of up there either that weekend, or since. but things may have changed since i was there.

Was in Renshaw 2 days ago tracked out not much fresh found a little fresh in out of the way places but it's hero conditions mainly.

Yeah apparently....avy risk is high, new snow doesn't wanna settle....even on baby slopes in around the trees.

wasa the same in blue last weekend, any new loading is only gunna make that worse.

Latest Bulletins show back country is extreme avy risk. No new significant new snow. Be carefull out there.Bulletins : Bulletins : Canadian Avalanche Centre : avalanche.ca
