we just spent a few days up in Ft Providence, fishing was ok , little slower than normal but got a Few pike over 20 lbs lot between 16 and 20 , biggest walleye was 4 lbs. The McKenzie is down 4-5ft from last year , just crazy low , gonna be a challenge for the barges and supply boats for sure this year . We knocked a prop off a boat right in the middle of the river about 7-8 miles upstream from the bridge . River right there is 3 ish Kms wide and 1.5 ft depth for 100-150 yards wide both directions. Tough to follow the channel, lots of new rocks been rolled around . Stopped at falls on the Hay at Enterprise and that also is way way low already this year. The Coast Guard guys were out trying to get the buoys set up for the boat traffic , they said it’s tough going this year.
