I have an '09 Summit XP 800 with a busted thumb warmer.......I would like to be able to "power up" the warmers by just using a battery plugged into the system instead of having to start the sled to power things up. Does anyone know how I could do this?

i would just use a volt meter and test the ohms on the warmer for an open or closed circuit .... then with sled runing and warmer on test dc or ac volts to it... also test the switch ... i/ve had to take mine apart and pack full of lubraplate grease ... never had a problem again
