Octane Boost in 06 Turbo Apex

Im just wondering if I can put 108 octane boost in my 06 MCX press turbo apex. Im running 12 lbs of boost and just want to make sure it has enough octane. Race fuel is very pricey for a octane boost. Is it safe...

you dont need it.. run shell 91 octain. or ave gas.. octain booster can dry out the fuel even more.. or leave problems.. if you ran race fuel you run the risk of burning down your sled.. if you dont need it you will actually rob HP from your sled as you cant burn off all the fuel before your exhaust valves open.. it will also run your exhaust manifould extreamly hot. i know a few ppl that messed it up..

I run chevron 94 up to 14 psi.......now I run straight AV gas because it is only 15cents more a liter and good to 18 psi. race fuel just cracks exhaust parts.......I have a head shim too!

Lot's of MCX Apexes running that level of boost on fresh premium 91 octane

Thats what I was going to say. Run good premium fuel. Good for up to 15psi if its the 290 kit.

I run Torco Fuel Accelerator. Works great! I'm running at 10#s w/ no shim at around 5500'-9000'. At the higher elevation I don't need it but where as I start at 5500' I need a little bit of insurance.
