new clutch sheave problems

I just put a new machined clutch sheave in and it seams like it is not shifting down as low as it was with the old stocker power is way down on the bottem end and is slipping when torque load get high seams fine on top end as i gained 5 mph any one have any ideas

When you installed the primary did you make sure to hold it together so the upper weights down flip on their side. Also make sure the the cam plate is on the splines when you install the washer and nut.

ya just took it apart and found one of the weights flipped over and mangled good thing i have extras now to put it back together hopefully wont be so dumb this time thanks for the reminder of holding it tight.
