Need some help.....

The boy's 96 Mxz 440 has an electrical issue, the head light keeps burning out (within 2-3 minutes) tail light burnt out, couldn't find any fuses so I replaced lights and again within 2 - 3 minutes burn out again.

Tach and speedo work, lights in the gauges not on.
Brake light on dash comes on when you grab the brake lever.
High beam indicator on dash works even when the light is burnt out.

Can't find any fuses.

Wiring looks good, no bare spots, no chew throughs.

sounds like you need to check the voltage regulator.

That happened to a buddy of mine. He said the handwarmers really worked good with 22 volts going through them.

I melted a brand new pair of gloves and my throttle last season with the same problem.

Ok I changed the voltage regulator and put in a new head light / tail light and works fine but my back up alarm doesn't work? Will that be burnt out also and need to be changed.
