just put the motor back in and took it for a ride down the road today and temp blew the roof off the gauge and the engine overheating was flashing. I've already tried lifting it with the front end up and cap off but it is not helping. Any other suggestions?

If you have the front end up and the cap off you should be able to reach in from the (remove the can)exhaust side and grab the front lower hose and squeeze the air out.

vacuum cleaner on the coolant bottle with duck tape then lift it up and run it. Front end has to be at least 45 degrees up for a 5 minutes of run time min. If that doesnt work then drain it and then fill it properly to start. front up before starting to pour in.
