M8 fox float shocks help

My father just bought a used 2008 arctic cat M8 162". It has the fox float rear suspension and is very stiff with very little rebound. Once you on it it sits right down and rides like a stoneboat. I have tried different air settings on the rear shock. Does it need to be rebuilt I dont know much about fox float shocks.

Thats fox shocks for ya. They just suck.

I have messed around with my shock pressures, and have the same issues, so I am going to be getting the revalve kit from Nextech, suppose to make it a much better ride.

Yep I agree. Fox floats are chit. put the Burrant upgrade and the Nextech reservoir on mine and it was worth every penny.
