Can anyone tell me if its worth a w-end trip there to check out the trails...just going thru my backroads map book and its says it allows qauds..and is there camping outside the park?

Yes I quadded the area I went from Elinor lake to Helena and Blackett lake very nice trail they have platforms across the skeg and bridges to minimize enviromental damage the group that maintains it does a very good job.

thanks for the info..are the trials all easy riding or well you find mud too...would you go back or was once enough?

I would go back for the fishing. Trails are very easy kids can ride with their little bikes into Helena just one mud hole at the begining might have some trouble though, nice cruise through the bush not a tough ride by any means. there is picnic tables wood boxes, open top biffies and boats to use at helena...or blackett i forget just bring oars and life jackets
