Just installed Rat Sled Running Boards

I just started installing my Rat Sled running boards on my RX-1.I only have the one side down but it sure looks good

had a look at them at the show and wasnt impressed from the finish
all the edges where sharp and not roundet off
the one they had installed was bent between 2 rivets

hope urs fit and are finished better

Looks good. Do they mount on top of your stock boards or do you cut away the stock ones and mount these ones in their place?

I like these, nice way to shorten up the running boards. I saw one on a Nytro at the Calgary show. Are you keeping the running board coolers? What are you doing with the rear crossover?

No I cut the running boards right off.I only left about a 1" of old running board

I kept the running board cooler.I all ready have a rear cooler

With 350 HP I,m not concerned about side hilling.I more worried about my feet sliding off the boards.They had no grip at all.

Not unless the running boards are wider than the skis......
