Jackshaft RX1

Has anyone had to replace the jackshaft bearing on the clutch side? I blow the bearing out on my last trip. The out side race is in a tuff spot to punch it out. I may need to get a puller or something. On another thought should I tear my chain case apart and check the bearing on that side as well?

My thoughts would be if your doing one bearing you may as well do them both.

just use a chisel and split the bearing race thats how i had to get it out

There a real b!tch, that bearings a special tapered bearing that you have to by from yamaha!

changed my clutch side jackshaft bearing and clutch side driveshaft bearing at 8500kms.....they were a little rough but nothing too serious....06 apex mountain
