Iron Horse Trail

Has anyone out there had any great trips on the Iron Horse Trail?
Any events or attractions that can't be missed?

Any trails that lead off to other locations?

Please let me know so we can plan a good family trip.

We rode from Heinsberg to St. Paul a couple of weeks ago, it was a good time. As for other trails or attractions I can't tell ya much, we didn't have alot of time to explore but we did end up sitting down by the river near Heinsberg for awhile on the way home. The trail was marked really well with lots of outhouses for the women and was fairly smooth. Two of the couples we went with rode from St. Paul to Bonnyville the next weekend and said the trail was really rough and not much to see...open fields.
We are planning on going back later in the spring once the river valley greens up somemore.
