high mileage polaris's and 800 outty's- 5500kms plus

my 850 has 5500kms on it. new outty with 100kms. whos fixed what and why?

1100km on the wifes 2010 850XP and dealer still can't figure why the ADC works intermittent. Really wish Polaris could build a real front diff with a selectable locker like the others. It's not a lot of fun when the rear wheels lock up under engine compression and you're sliding down a steep tree covered trail. They were supposed to have this issue out of the way with the XP

i've had that. u need a vacuum brake bleeder to get the air out of the adc and it works great! i do it with every diff oil change:d

-cv boot- did not clean grass off and twisted it.

Ripped splines out of output shaft on transfer case
Oil in the airbox (3 trips to dealer, denied pcv recall, 2nd time denied warranty)
faulty clutch cover (6 times to dealer to properly seal clutch, sometimes denied warranty)
Missing brake line (literally "fell" out, denied warranty)
Popped CV-boot (chit happens, hit a twig)
winch cable (my fault, first time I ever had a cable break on me.... 2 times in the same day.)
some lip out of one of the service technicians that was really uncalled for.

Tail light burned out.

You got it, its a blur for a half second, then you don't see anything. It's that fast.

 

[High Velocity]

'10 850XP, 2200 km. Broke left/lower a-arm at 1200 km. Welded it up and still running it. Ball joint recall done as well as all servicing. That's about it. Really quite impressed considering how hard it gets flogged.
