Headlight issue

My dad has a 2006 Honda Foreman 500. He just put a new headlight in on the r/h side. The lights all come on but the one he replaced is very very dim. Any ideas what the problem is?

Swap it out with the one on the other side, see if the dimness follows the bulb or stays on that side.

sounds like a loose ground wire 6 and 12 volt will do that check with volt meter positive light socket neg frame
