Gorman Lake Conditons

Rode gorman today, not recomended, we only made to where the groomer turns around at - three or more feet of snow is needed to do some actual riding. Here is some pics!

As per norm, Gorman is the last zone in Golden to open.
Quartz is usually the first zone to open up, then someone usually gets excited and tries to punch Silent. Then sometime mid to late December some locals punch Gorman. Let the locals punch it because they know where the most common rocks are waiting... ha.
Quartz has more alpine meadows then any of our other zones = less rock.
IF there are snow banks on the Rogers Pass highway camera, then quartz will have enough to ride. (same elevation with similar snowpack).
