Fuel pumps: Delphi or Airtex?

I'm in need of a new fuel pump for my '97 GMC Jimmy. Looks like my aftermarket choices are Delphi or Airtex. The Delphi seems to be about 100 bucks more than the Airtex. From what I can find online, people seem to like Delphi more but Airtex has a strong following and many shops and retailers carry them, though I have also read some horror stories.

Can anyone who has used either give me their input? Any shop guys here have experience with either or both?

We have had good sucess with using the delphies in the shop and carters. I have not used a Airtex yet. That being said you can always get a bad part right out of the box
