Opening weekend coming up, low on snow so far but not terrible. Groomer is at the 19km parking lot and will start grooming soon. Hopefully before the weekend, if so parking will be at the 19. We Parked at 22 bridge today, I wouldn't take a trailer that far . Enough snow on the road to ride from 19.
Trail was really good until 34km then it starts getting rough. Whooped from wood shed already unfortunately. Went to make sure cabin was still there since there was no access this summer.
Snow is thigh deep in the trees, lots of track pokers still showing.
Trail fees in affect Saturday.
Road is good.

Was told 30cms at the 19km parking lot yesterday morning and it dumped close to 30cms in town overnight.

No kidding that’s alright. Any idea what the base is like in the zone?
Buddy who was up today said 185cm in the big meadow. Still way low snow, Catamount climb is still showing huge rocks, Creeks open lots of landmines.
Road not plowed, no logging through Christmas.

Any new snow yet? Has the trail been groomed again recently? Just bought 4 season trail passes yesterday through WVSS - ready to go!

Thank you for supporting the club.
Very warm last couple days right up to 2000m. Too warm to groom.
Special avalanche warning out for the Purcell's.

Is there any new snow up top or is it going to be pounded out - just looking to play in the meadows mainly as going in with the family and a few first time sledders

I haven't been up personally, friends were up Christmas day and they said it was really good. Hasn't been alot of precipitation since boxing Day but it's an area that can get snow when nowhere else in the valley does.

Trail fees are $25, can be bought online from the website.
Grooming is back on schedule, Tues and Saturday nights.
Still not enough snow to build the snow bridge.
It's been snowing up there, still thin.
Road is unmaintained, hill from the water reservoir bridge at 18km is nasty. Big trailers are getting stuck, chain up early.

Meetings are first Thursday of every month at the Kanata 6pm, we would appreciate any help.
We discussed setting up a zoom link so members from out of town can attend to try and get more input.

There is a face book page, not my thing but people use it lol.
I'll see if we can email minutes out to members, don't think this has been done before.

Good few days at Forester. Trail is excellent up to the wood shed. Bit rough from there but no sweat 10-15cm new in alpine, low snow in valley but still loads of fun and beautiful views aplenty!
