Will a pick up reel on a swather even cut that? Feel for the farmers who have to deal with this **** weather and still try to get crops off the field & into a bin or rail car.

Local dealers have been selling crop lifters to beat the band. Not fun for sure, at least we haven't had any snow yet here!!!

I have had 3 grower cancel organic feed barley contracts due to hail damage. 1500 acres of peas all done too. Crazy weather for sure!! Now if we can only get some poorer weather conditions in the US grain belt to push prices up to help you guys.

Mother Nature has shown us she can be a witch this year. Dried out, rain and snow now and -4 tonight. Still time for a tornado and hail storm if she wants I guess. Lol.

Funny you should mention that.....neighbours combine started a fire Sunday night and almost burnt a 1/4 section of some of my rented land. Thankgod for neighbours and the fire dept only 10 acres burnt off of his.

. Just have to check it frequently so it doesn't heat, that was an expensive lesson the first time we grew it

WHats average yield and price for flax these days. Haven't grown it in years.

Around 30 bu/ac in my area and I thnk its around $11 right now
