Diesel Shortage??

i honestly think there is no shortage of fuel,every year they say this in november.i think it is switching over to winter fuel.just like in spring before may long weekend fuel prices go up

^^^^ I agree 100% considering all that bio diesel mix they are using now, its harder to blend the summer and winter unlike the old diesel.

Story is, due to price of condensate, as that was their main input.

It is/was only capable of 4800bpd of production and had not produced diesel as far back as I can remember, mostly due to using condensate as a feedstock.

Drove from Vale to Fort McMurray yesterday. Filled in Vale, Edson was out of fuel but I did find a station about 50km East that had fuel but also had a 200L limit, didnt affect me but for those with tidy tanks. Never noticed any shortage in Edmonton and I didn't look for fuel in Fort McMurray yet.

Only place i found diesel in Spruce Grove was at the Hughes station noone else had any.
