Change ECM,s

Has anybody swapped out their ECM on their 2012 Pro for the ECM out of a 2013?

Did it make in difference in performance, running quality etc?

Have heard that the 2013 has a more advanced timing curve.

Thanks in advance for all info and or opinions on this.

Typically it is just the program in the ECM that has changed, likely no need to change the ECM itself just have the dealer reflash it with the 2013 map. I have heard that the 2013 is improved over the 2012.

Just read a post on SW that says the ecm's are different so no go on the reflash idea.
