Vote coming Monday to take the carbon tax off all home heating. Two petitions and the CTF is also \saying to contact the Alberta Liberal MP's, Randy Boi Ass onnault and George Chahal. They have no hope in Randy so are saying to flood George with messages - george.chahal@parl.gc.ca

From the Canadian Taxpayers Federation: https://www.taxpayer.com/petitions/remove-taxes-on-home-heating

From the Conservative Party: takethetaxoff.ca
Perfect timing since I already filled my propane tank.

So what did the Bloc mean that the carbon tax does not affect Quebec?

They have a cap & trade system, effectively they pay half of what the rest of the nation does in carbon tax.

And many heat with dirt cheap hydro electricity that has no carbon tax applied.

Quebec is the largest carve out from the Federal Carbon tax scheme.

The Libs would have won this vote without the Bloc's support, the Bloc Quebecois just sent a huge FU to the rest of Canada by supporting the Libs

Good ole/ Quebec....
Showing us how much they care about the rest of Canada.......

Good thing no one on this website supports Quebec....or businesses in Quebec.

I used to really dislike Quebec (still kind of do). But more recently I'm starting to think that maybe they have been right all along, and that the other provinces should follow suit. The more autonomous provinces are, and the less power ottawa has, the less room for division. I think a federalist system distributes power and provides less leverage for division

This is why I will never support Bombardier/Canam. Anything made there can stay there. I will never step in the piece of s.it province.
