Can I get some info from anyone that has a 1200. Looking to get back into sledding and I am torn between a 1200 and the 800 MX.

Interesting dilemma.
If what I have heard is true and you keep your ride stock then the 600etec has the same power as the 1200 4 stroke and the 800r would give you an extra 20 horse give or take. Both the 1200 and 600 are going to be silky smooth and cheap to run but the 800 will be a bit more interesting. If like so many guys today you are willing to spend the cash and make some mods for power then the 1200 seems to be the way to go.

If I wasnt so worried about the weight in the deep stuff I would love to try the 1200 but thats just me. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

PS - any chance on rental shops having these sleds, maybe take them out for the day and really try before you buy.

the 1200 from what I have seen at the drags around here can run with the 800 with a bit of work and look good doing it. I am leaning towards a 1200 renegade to fit my daily needs next year

i have a 1200 and i would not give her up for anything. lol i love it. the ride is amazing. at 60 mph give her a shot and she lifts the skis. i have only had two rides on mine. but both me and my husbands has one and we just love it.
