The NDP may very likely get re-elected if the right-wing vote gets split. Wildrose vs PC will only hurt us again.

But back to topic....if Bombi can't compete...let it fail. The oil industry is not asking for a handout in AB/BC/SK....we can compete. It's just hard to compete when your biggest obstacles come from within your own country. IE: anti-pipeline, anti-shipping, carbon-tax, etc.

This article posted by SmokinD says it in spades:

Scary thought.....but so possibly true

This article says it all about our provincial and national political leaders. They all should be tried for treason for the damage they do to Canada's reputation and the suffering they cause the countrie's citizens to endure.
What is even scarier is that there are enough people in Canada that continue to vote these idiots into power.
There are more than brainwashed politicians out there.

Oh and for Bombardier - let them sink. Jstin has no balls though, he will cough up to buy his votes close to home. Spineless dweeb!

I'm playing devils advocate here, we're not talking about how many times BRP has been bailed out we're talking about why should one industry be thrown aside while another receives handouts. Is it because one is in your backyard and affects people you know or are you making an objective decision?
Are you really serious ... ??
One is an industry , one is a rather small company in its respective field !!!
wow .... Just wow .....

Ummm........... BRP and Bombardier are not financially linked and are not the same company.

BRP is doing pretty darn good as a recreational products design and supplier.

Bombardier Inc. - the transportation and aero space company is in continual bailout mode and should be left to sink if after all this time they still can't get poop in a pile. A big name but not a huge job supplier as I see it, especially if they want a bailout to outsource labor FFS!

Two seperatly financed companies, not linked other than owners.
Unless some one is illegally transferring funds which would be impossible to hide considering the accounting audits that are in place for govt bailouts on the Bombardier Inc side.

Then what is the point of his post , other than to stir the pot ....??
The facts are these two are not comparable at all... So I fail to see the point in comparing the two....unless it is some sort of attempt at humor .
