Only thing is that I have a 2 day bbq prep and a 2 day debrief period. My wife just doesn't understand haha.

Just picked up 200ish lbs of pork from my buddy. Home grown and best pork he's ever had. Looking forward to it. Will be posting pics for sure

Did you get mostly crappy weather? Best time to go is mid-late July.

Love my oysters though. Malpeque Bay oysters?

And you need to pick the heads apart haha. Some of the best meat is in there but you have to work for it.

Yes they where malpeque bay fresh that morning, that was my first time eating raw oysters and I was pleasantly surprised! Very tasty. Weather was actually good, only one cooler day. My parents moved to the grand river area right on the water. Very nice place to visit. It was my first time out there.

So if anyone likes pork like we do, I recommend finding someone local that raises pigs. It blows commercial pork out of the water.

I have this big un cut ribeye in the freezer that i could cut into 2 or 3 good sized roast. Its been in the freezer 2 year though lol

Wonder if its still good for anything or just garbage?
