An elderly Manitou-area farmer has died after a farm accident, RCMP said Sunday.
Police said the man, 80, was out checking on his crops on a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle Saturday but didn't return.
His family found him pinned under the ATV and called police at about 6:30 p.m.
RCMP said the man, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed into a ditch and the ATV toppled over on to him; alcohol was not a factor.
