Just wondering how you like it. What setup your using (non-intercooled, intercooled). What elevations you are running them in (mine would be from 1500 to 8000 ft.). I would like to run pump gas (91 octane) and be able to pull the rope and go. I've done lots of research and love how easy they would be to install. They also told me to run their timing box due to the pump gas and elevations. Don't have lots of real world reviews. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get a vipec standalone. That will probably give you the most reliable pull and go setup.

Ive been told by a pretty famous builder that there are only two turbos to use on Polaris, Boondocker or Silber. It might be only his opinion but I trust it.

I'll check into your fellows recommendations. Silber isn't an option, too many guys unhappy. No one has much to say about Aerocharger. Must not be many out there.

Recommend the boondocker turbo for the pro did the install myself in october made the kit as simple as the could for user install. Yes your paying for the brand but its worth it, Tweaked a few #'s on the fuel controller an other than that its been all smiles.

That's a big selling point, being able to install it myself. You guys using intercoolers or going non intercooled?

No i have boondocker. But i run standalone management on my car. And vipec is an exellent ecu across the board. No piggyback in the world compares to a full standalone in any application. I would run vipec if i could but they dont have support for iq chassis. Im considering trading up to a pro assault just so i can get one.

Plus price wise...

Turbo boondocker box
Electronic boost controller
E key
Pyrometer setup
Wideband setup
Nitrous control
Intercooler fan control
Altitude compensation

All of those pretty much cost the same as a standalone. I know from both my car and sled goodies, that its easily the same cost. But the standalone controls all of that an more. Once its mapped and tweaked it shouldnt.need any further adjustment really. Plus you have much finer control over fuel than a boondocker box.

Sounds good to me, how much boost are you running? I cant make up my mind if I want a SLP stage 4 or just turbo it. I would only use a Boondocker.

Running a intercooled setup, for the extra 500$ its completely worth it. Right now have it set to altitude compensation so 4#s at sea level once I hit the mtns its up to 6-8psi so far its more than enough while running extremely well. One of these days might throw it into some double digits. After owning both the Slp kit an now a turbo I'll take the turbo everyday. Double down an go boosted:beer:

What kind of fuel? Pump gas or mixed with av gas? I would like to be able to run pump gas, less of a pain in the butt. What kind of electronics are you running? A guy would have to get both clutch kits to run on the flatland and mountains, correct me if I'm wrong.

Boost it turbos are cheap. Yikes!! It had better be bulletproof for 9G's installed. Not to say they don't go like snot, a tad bit expensive for my taste though. I'll have to pm Neil and see what he has to say about my requirements. Thanks. Keep the recommendations coming. A ways off making up my mind yet.

Straight av for the 20-30cents more a L doesn't concern me...found out years ago sledding aint a cheap sport. You could run at 4-6psi on pump i'm sure, AEM A/F gauge.

Im in the same boat, just wondering if I want a extra 20 or 40-50 horse more. I love what Im hearing about the Boondocker. I really dont want to run race gas. I want to be able to just run pump gas and maybe add alittle octane boost.

What kind of gains would you get with 4-6 psi boost?

I wouldn't even consider any other kit out their right now. Hands down the Boost It kit is FAR superior in every way. I could write a novel on "why" from parts quality to customer service but If your just looking for a entry level low boost pump gas kit I would wait intel next year and do as much research as you can and get some seat time on the different kits.

I run the mountains two or three times a season if I'm lucky. We have such great trails and hills around home. I hate being the lowest in hp. Great sled just want more power but safely. Turbo's seem to be the way of the future or maybe I need a PAR 910...but that's another topic all together lol. I have to justify these costs just deciding the best route...with a little help.

I'd like someone to post up some detailed pics of this kit. Boost-it website has nothing and other than a few shots of complete sleds, there is not really much out there on these kits other than guys saying these kits are the bomb. Not disputing that at all and if I had the coin, I'd be driving my sled to AB tomorrow but it would be nice to see some more detailed pics. Right now, I'm just waiting to put a deposit down on the entry level boost it kit :).

Checking the HM kits out, I like the Vipec ECU idea...Hmmmmm, what kit to get? They all have their selling features, just have to decide how much to spend. It's a toss up between HM and Boost it right now...thanks guys, my brain is working over time lol
