anyone know what you have to do to register a BC sled in AB?

try and get original NIVIS and your set,, most BC guys dont regi so they have original NIVIS (new vehicle information statement)because its never been registered.

but usualy a bill of sale and insurance should do it,,,

call and confirm,, dont say its from BC just say if a sled has never been registered what is required, they will say bill of sale and insurance....

X2. I just carry all my paperwork and no regi. I didn't want to pay the sales tax.

sled was registered in BC has the ugly yellow decals on tunnel
guy selling said it is no big deal i even get some of the tax back not sure i belive that one

just wanted to make sure before i bought it that i could register and insure it in AB

Yep, as long as you bring in your bill of sale and pay the tax on it, shouldn't be a prob.

Yeah I bought a sled outta the states was registered there. But I went to Alberta registries, had bill of sale with serial # and proof of insurance no problems at all.

pretty sure there is no tax to be paid.... defineately no credit lol

well yeah there was that stuff at the boarder but Alberta reg did want to see any of that stuff!

REALLY???? They're charging sales tax on used sleds here now.... IF and when you register.

yes there is i am buying it off a dealer
he says i can apply to get pst part of tax back because i am not from BC

now all i have to do is make another trip into BC to pick sled up
