36'' to 34'' front end

id like to swap front ends on my 22 freeride from 36-34''. How does the same shock work for the skinnier front end without changing the ride height? Do they mount on the 34'' control arms differently?

norona said initially it would work and then later mentioned that it wouldn't in a subsequent thread. i'd love to be able to do the switch though.

I wonder if the shock was turned upside down with the reservoir on the inside a person could get by?

Worth a shot to pull the sprints and try running the shock upside down through its full travel

It technically and dimensionally should but the reservoirs would have to be rotated a tad. Not sure if that’s possible

Not sure about the kyb world, but I did get mb suspension solutions to rotate a set of exits for me recently
