Would a 3" 163x16 fit under a nytro with 7 tooth drivers or would I be better off with a 3" 162 currently running 2.5x162x15 thanks in advance and merry Christmas to all:beer:

Expensive job putting a 3" in a Nytro. And I would say probably not a difference that your going to notice.
And 16" wide is a tight fit!!

Don't quote me on this but I'm saying you need to have a chat with chad at CR racing. You need to send in your front cooler for a refit. If your running a CR tunnel then ur good but a 16 is to tight and you'll need more room at the front to run three inch.

I have a 163 x 2.5 summit with Bikeman 880 and a turbo nypex 162x2.5 Nypex scares the hell out of me the way it is but still want just a little bit more for the deep days but if it's not a feasible noticeable difference I'm content thanks for the input greatly appreciated

I have a 162/15/2.5 on a nytro with 7t, there is barley enough room for the 2.5" track. I see CR wants $340 for his cooler mod to a 3" track. Since you have a nypex, what chaincase are you using? If your using apex chaincase, CR did make a d&R kit for apex's that you could use.

Buddy just put a 3.2 174 track on the nytro. Big diffrance at first glance over the 2.5-3inch but yet to be proven on the snow.

Really not that big of deal to put a 3" under a nytro. Get Chad's kit (around $350), he exchanges your cooler. Took 5 or 6 hours to do the job. Big difference. I went from a 174x15x2.5 to a 174x16x3

With a CR Tunnel you still need Chads Cooler Mod to fit the 3 inch. And a 16W fits just fine in stock tunnel or CR Tunnel. You just need to clearance a few rivets etc in the bulkhead area. I have the 16W 162 X 3 inch in mine and was a huge difference from the 16W 162 X 2 1/2.

Only thing I wish is that I went 174

Another question is would wahl bro's 7tooth drivers handle 290hp or do you recommend avid?

I have no experience with Wahl but Avid has been great on both my turbo Apex and turbo Nytro! They are worth it in my opinion vs spinning drivers on your shaft and getting helicoptered out....
