Boulder and Frisby gates are locked until better snow falls on the trail so Sale is your option.

They were open yesterday. they are closed now.
Neither gates are open or have been since the spring. The group that went up last weekend went to run the generator to charge the batteries for the Yamacam and check out what the access is like for the club. They need at least one huge dump on boulder to cover the trail from the gate to the alpine especially with the rain at the cabin and below all week.
Last Friday there was about 10" of snow at the 10km on the Sale Trail which is about at 5000'. It would be less now with the high rain but it's definitely your best bet right now if you need to try.

Yeah the rock slide that took out the hi-way 4 days ago could be down to one lane until spring.

I thought the gates were opened at a certain date not by how much snow there is ?
