Anyone know what access into Groundhog is like in the spring? Never been to Blue River this time of year and we want to bring the kids up (12, 13, 15). Wondering if we can drive up and turn around with two place trailers and if there are any major creeks that open up on the trail up.

We were in groundhog east and west lady couple of days.
Can turn a 4 place around near 3 km mark. A bit of gravel for 1 km them trail gets better as you go up.
No open water.
Trail a bit rough but pretty good for time of year.
Had about 4 to 6 " of fresh snow last night. Still pretty good but setting up some.
If you can get there tomorrow you will have a blast.

Got into Groundhog. Parked at the first bridge.

50%gravel for a couple of k, it got better and better. 100% snow at the turnoff to Groundhog.

High cloud ceiling, no real sun, but ok temps.

Was hoping for some sunny riding, Hope tomorrow will be better.

It would be an awesome area if it was softer snow hand bluebird.
