Anyone running a 162 3" Camoplast Challenger Extreme.
Just wondering how they are working.
Is there a large performance gain over the 162 2.5"?
Since it is not single-ply, is the increase in track weight noticable?
Any issues with the lugs folding over due to being so tall?
Thanks
N

pm thegeneral on here. pretty sure hes running one. ive got the 2.5 which was a huge improvement over stock. i have heard the 3 is not even comparable. im going to try it mid season or next season. my only concern is trail ride and spring riding.

I think i would keep my 2.5 sean and do a swap mid april?? I think the may ice and gravel would be a little tough on the 3'

i have a 3" also and they are night and day over the 2.5 or stock, that would be like haveing a 1.5" then switching to a 2.25 think there would be a difference? lol its the same kind of differnence and i have not had any slider or overheat issues yet, if the trail is marginal snow just put down the scratchers then all it good.

We got one in our grop and it just works. On conditions of 6-12" its not a diffrence in my opinion but when you run into 12" or no base conditions you cannot beat it. The weight increase is not noticable on the xp with 7tooth drivers carried the same track speeds and clutching. As for lugs yea, the 8ft deck is not your friend so we just put a 4x4 to lift it off the paddles.
