I've been looking around the internet for info on the new '09 headlight deletes. They make a brace for the resistor. But is there already a resistor or do you need to buy one like you do with the older models (prior to '09)?

I took of the lights on my regular yfz. Just do a pod delete in it if you don't plan to use it. .

Or dont flick the switch and just electrical tape the ends and zip tie to the frame.

And how do u do a pod delete? I never ride at night so lights for me are useless

I know on the regular yfz's when you put on a kick start you just take the pod right off and gut the harness of all the wiring you do not need. Not too sure how you do it on the R's though. Check YFZcentral for more info on the r model.
